Texas.

This is me in my awesome purple scrubs that I wear for my clinical at Kindred Hospital in Arlington, TX! I am really enjoying my clinical. Kindred hospital is a long term care facility where they get patients from a bunch of hospitals around Arlington. Most of the patients have wounds or some other infection or complication from a previous surgery or medical problem. I work with my clinical instructor Rudy and another student Lauren. I have been getting a lot of great experience and my instructor already has me working with a few patients all by myself! We keep very busy running around all day from inpatient to the outpatient clinic next door, so the days go by very fast.

This is a picture of my purple bedroom that I have been staying in at Brett's great aunt and uncle's house. I am extremely spoiled and I am loving spending time with them and getting to know them better. They have welcomed me into their home and life, I have been getting to know some of their friends and I am even going to Bunco night this Thursday with Bev. They are such amazing people and I am so thankful to them for opening their home up to me and allowing me to live closer to Brett and see him more often.
I went up to Enid last weekend and plan to head there this weekend also, It is so nice to see him every week instead of every 6-7 weeks!:)
Brett has been very busy with flying and I will have to get some pictures from him and convince him to make an entry next weekend so you can stay updated with what he is doing as well. He definitely does not have as much free time as I do, but he is enjoying flying.

My best friends' weddings!

I took a trip up to MN last weekend for two of my best friends weddings. One of my best friends from high school Kristy Mitteness (now Nystrom) got married on Friday and I was a bridesmaid, and then on Saturday one of my best friends from college Savanna Arnold (now Smith) got married and I was also a bridesmaid. It was a crazy fun weekend of weddings. I left OK on Wednesday and came back on Monday. It was a quick trip, but fun to see my friends and family who I will not see for at least a few months and most of them not until January at the earliest when I head back to Grand Forks.

It was so fun to see some of my friends from high school that I haven't seen in awhile and catch up with them. We are all so busy that even when we are back in Kerkhoven we don't always have time to get together so it was fun to dance and have a good time together.

To the right is a picture of several of the ladies that I was an RA with in Noren, they have grown to be my best friends and it was so great to see them again! I can't even believe it was 4 years ago when we met, I feel like I have known them forever!

Now I am back in Oklahoma, I head to Texas on Saturday and start my clinical in Arlington on Monday! I can't believe the summer is almost over already! Time flies when you are having fun!
